About me

Damon Lum is a photographer based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  He is a member of the Arts and Letters Club of Toronto, a private club of visual and fine artists where he has also exhibited his photographs.  There, he is also the co-host and co-producer of "Jammin' on the One," an open jam for improvisers, where he began taking pictures of performers working on stage.  He has has become skilled in capturing the expressions and energy of the people in their moment.  This was the beginning of a transformation into candid photography.  In a world where people have their cell phone cameras with them at all times, he strives to capture real moments to add life to the stories he wants to tell through his photos, from his travels to the streets and landscapes to the people he sees.
